SoA Gallery 2025: expansion, standout exhibitions, and a stronger premium positioning
In 2025, SoA Gallery entered a new phase of growth. With a larger space, a bolder programme, and carefully crafted events, we strengthened our mission: to create a place for refined aesthetics, deep contemplation, and meaningful dialogue — engaging everyone from art lovers to the most demanding collectors.
Skowrońscy Art (SoA) continues to support artists who challenge conventional forms, provoke reflection, and invite audiences into new modes of artistic experience. In 2025, this vision translated into exhibitions and collaborations that combined curatorial quality with strong PR momentum.
March 2025: moving to Grzybowska 30/U5 — more space, greater possibilities
A defining milestone of the year was relocating from Grzybowska 12/14 to Grzybowska 30/U5 in Warsaw. The move was strategic: it expanded our exhibition potential, improved viewing comfort, and created the conditions for ambitious large-scale presentations and premium-level events.
The new address also signals growth. SoA Gallery is among the largest private contemporary art galleries in Warsaw, and 2025 was the year this scale began to translate even more clearly into visibility and positioning.
Opening the new space: Andrzej Fogtt — monumental abstraction with contemporary intensity
We inaugurated the new location with an exhibition by Andrzej Fogtt, a Polish painter known for large-format abstract works. The new architecture allowed his paintings to fully resonate — intense, dynamic, and yet contemplative, drawing viewers into a rhythm of colour, matter, and scale.
Fogtt has presented over 60 solo exhibitions and more than 40 group exhibitions in Poland and internationally. His works are held in significant museum and institutional collections, as well as in corporate and private collections across Europe and beyond.
This opening was our symbolic statement: SoA Gallery is ready for exhibitions with strong impact and high exhibition standards.
Jerzy Fober’s sculpture exhibition: a memorable opening and a major success
Another headline moment was the exhibition of Jerzy Fober’s sculptures, presented in a contemporary format with a strong opening-night experience and an outstanding audience response. The vernissage was unforgettable: low-lying smoke across the floor, live piano, and a refined guest list — a setting that elevated the exhibition’s narrative.
Works included “Who Has Eyes, Let Them Listen” (2009), “In the Shadow of the Master” (2001), “Demons of La Mancha” (2005), “Fallen Angel” (1993), “And the Trees Shall Rise Again” (1996), “Elevation” (1991), and “Flagellation” (1990). The selection captured the artist’s distinct language and formal discipline across multiple periods.
For SoA Gallery, this exhibition mattered for two reasons: it proved that sculpture can operate as a full spatial experience (form, light, sound, audience rhythm), and it confirmed our ability to produce events that remain a reference point long after they end.
December 2025: “Midnight Blue” and a partnership with Poland Sotheby’s International Realty
In early December, we closed the year with “Midnight Blue” and a collaboration with Poland Sotheby’s International Realty. The exhibition explored the meaning of blue in contemporary painting — guiding visitors through a spectrum of interpretations, from spiritual transcendence and analytical form to intimate everyday observation.
The starting point and heart of the show was an unprecedented moment: the first public presentation of Wojciech Fangor’s “Midnight Blue”. Its hypnotic depth became the key to the exhibition’s narrative — a shared language among artists with different temperaments and artistic intentions.
Equally important for collectors and the premium market, the partnership with Poland Sotheby’s International Realty confirmed Skowrońscy Art’s position as a significant contemporary art gallery, ready to serve the most demanding clients. The cooperation reflects trust in our experience, stability, and the quality of the artists we represent.
2025 in one sentence: a year of decisions that shape the future
A new headquarters, a strong opening with Fogtt, the success of Fober’s exhibition, and the year-end “Midnight Blue” project with the first public presentation of Fangor’s work — alongside a premium partnership with Poland Sotheby’s International Realty — made 2025 a year of intense growth and strategic positioning for SoA Gallery.
We enter the next season with momentum and ambition — while staying focused on what matters most: quality, selection, and exhibition standards expected by a premium audience.
