Wincenty Czwartos – artist biography
Wincenty Czwartos (born 1994) is a contemporary Polish painter and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He received his diploma in 2023 from the painting studio of Professor Grzegorz Bednarski and the drawing studio of Professor Grzegorz Wnęk. He is a member of the Otwarta Pracownia Artistic Association, an important collective within Kraków’s art scene.

Czwartos’ work focuses on motifs of monuments, ruins, and ghostly presences of history. His paintings explore the tension between past and present, portraying nature as a silent witness to historical events. Through layered compositions, he reflects on the relationship between collective memory and landscape.
