Andrzej Fogtt (b. 1950, Poznań) is a Warsaw-based artist known for his large-format compositions, where dynamic colors and bold forms define his signature style. A graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, he earned his diploma in 1974 under the guidance of Magdalena Abakanowicz and Zdzisław Kępiński.

Fogtt’s artistic achievements have been widely recognized. He was a laureate of the 8th Art Festival in Zachęta (1979) and received a medal at the Grand Prix of the Polish Painting Festival in Szczecin (1984). That same year, he represented Poland at the Venice Biennale, marking a significant milestone in his career. In 2009, he was awarded the Gloria Artis Medal by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for his contributions to Polish art.

With over 60 solo exhibitions and participation in more than 40 group shows in Poland and internationally, his work has gained a significant presence in both institutional and private collections. His paintings are housed in major museums, including the National Museums in Szczecin, Wrocław, and Kielce, the Museum of Art in Łódź, the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, and the National Museum in Prague. His works also form part of collections at institutions such as Humboldt University in Berlin, the Polish Institute in Paris, and various galleries, corporate collections, and private holdings across Europe, the USA, and Colombia.
