In 1958, she received her diploma with distinction in the studio of Professor Kazimierz Tomorowicz at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1963, the artist co-founded the Warsaw art group “Rekonesans”, bringing together painters interested in new forms of expression in contemporary painting. This activity further strengthened her position on the art scene in Warsaw and throughout Poland.
